Globelink Group Annual Conference 2023 Dubrovnik, Croatia

After a lapse of 3 years, Globelink Group's Annual Conference is back! The Globelink Group's Annual Conference has become an important feature in many of our global partners' schedules and we are happy to renew this event again. Needless to say, our partners were all excited to reunite with each other face-to-face once again after 3 years, making this event a special one to kick off the post-pandemic era.

Dubrovnik, Croatia was specially selected to be the host country for this year's conference for its historical and scenic setting for attendees to network and unwind making this conference exciting and productive at the same time. The event this year was successfully concluded at Hotel Dubrovnik Palace with a total of about 160 participants from all around the globe.

Globelink Group's Annual Conference 2023 was officially opened on Friday, 14 April with a welcome address and key note speech by our Executive Chairman, Mr. Tan Choon Wei and Group CEO, Mr. Daniel Tok, sharing on the Group's performance, market updates and strategies.

Dubrovnik is known for its prominent filming locations in the HBO blockbuster, Game of Thrones. In conjunction with the theme, the opening ceremony began with highlights from the Game of Thrones and a special entrance of Globelink Group's HQ Team taking on Game of Thrones pivotal characters in the series with kings and queens alike. Even Drogon made an appearance!

The official conference ended on a high note with a thematic Gala Dinner featuring “Medieval Times”. Delegates came dressed in medieval glitz and glamour and it was an eye opener of creative costumes from all over the world. With the ballroom decorated to the theme, delegates travelled back in time to the Medieval World and had an entertaining evening with a fully lined program, including traditional folk dance performance “Lindjo”, our very own “TikTok” Challenge and a birthday celebration for the April babies!

The event finally concluded with a networking day tour where delegates visited famous landmarks in the Konvale Region, featuring olive and water mils, the Sokol Castle, and ending with a City Walls walking tour at the Old Town.

We believe that this conference has been exciting and productive for all, catching up in person after a long 3 years. Our heartiest thanks to the Globelink Slovenia team for the great support rendered for the entire event, and great appreciation to all who participated to make this event a great success. We are already looking forward to the next one!
