Globelink Malaysia was established in 1991 covering the major ports in West Malaysia. Specializing in LCL, we currently have offices in the following locations:

Malaysia is located in the southeast of the Asian continent; often referred to as Southeast Asia. Malaysia consists of two parts: Peninsular Malaysia, located between Thailand in the north and Singapore in the south and the two provinces Sabah and Sarawak, located on Borneo. Peninsular Malaysia is located just above the equator and Borneo just beneath it. The large island Borneo is shared with Indonesia (they call this island Kalimantan) and Brunei. To the north, it borders the Philippines (that still has claims on parts of Borneo) via sea.

Port Klang is situated on the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia, about 40 km from the capital city, Kuala Lumpur. Port Klang is being developed as the National Load Centre and a hub for the region that handles 55% of the container trade in Malaysia. This ideal geographical location makes Port Klang the first port of call for major shipping lines and for ships on the eastbound leg and the last port of call on the westbound leg of the Far East-Europe trade route. North Port was designated a Free Commercial Zone in April 1993, followed by West Port in June 1996, with the Port Klang Authority as the Free Zone Administrator. We also offer LCL bonded truck service Ex Port Klang, Pasir Gudang and Penang to Singapore to enhance our export service for faster connection and more sailings via Singapore direct consol. Our aim is to provide a more efficient alternative route with much more competitive rates and better transit time for our "LCL consolidation" activities.

Globelink Australia at the 2024 IFCBAA Conference

The 2024 International Forwarders & Customs Brokers Association of Australia Ltd. (IFCBAA) annual conference was held in Cairns from 23-25 May 2024. Globelink Australia was once again a proud sponsor for this annual event, which had a record 292 people in attendance this year.

With their creative hats on, Globelink Australia created a Christmas booth this year at the event to have a point of difference and to start customers thinking in advance to plan for Christmas! The Christmas stand was a huge hit with everyone at the conference.

Globelink Australia's Managing Director, Ms. Jacqui McCombie, as well as our Sales and Customer Service Manager, Ms. Doreen Vrankar were both speakers on panels for the conference. Jacqui was speaking on "Women in Leadership" and Doreen was speaking on "Young Professionals and Skills Shortage Solutions". Doreen was not only nominated but came in as a finalist of the International Forwarders & Customs Brokers Association of Australia Ltd. (IFCBAA) 'Young Professional of the Year Award'.

Both the panel discussions were very insightful and they have both received fantastic feedback from people who attended the conference.
