• Lisbon
Lisbon, the capital and biggest city in Portugal, is the political and financial center of Portugal. The city and its port lie in the Western Iberian Peninsula, between the River Tagus and the Atlantic Ocean. Heading south, 180 km from Lisbon, we find the natural port of Sines. Taking advantage of its strategically location in the world's major trade routes, Sines plays an important and growing role in South Europe as a hub for the Americas, Africa, and Asia. Efficient railways ensure the connection between Sines and the interior of the Iberian Peninsula and the Northern region of Portugal.
Porto is the so-called capital of the Northern region of Portugal. This region is known for its export potential, given the concentration of industries from the most traditional sectors, such as textiles, footwear, furniture, wine, but also in the areas of, machinery, metallurgy, automotive, etc. The region is served by the port of Leixoes, located at a very short distance from the city of Porto.
