Since 1994, Globelink Ünimar has built a market leading NVOCC presence in Türkiye, and today it operates from six strategic locations:

Globelink Ünimar is the top NVOCC operator handling Turkish export and import shipments, commanding 35% of the national market for export LCL volume and 25% for import LCL volume. The office manages 32 export and 36 import LCL trade lanes, a depth of coverage that reinforces Globelink's reputation as a dependable global partner. This performance is backed by certifications from recognized conformity assessment bodies, giving our customers confidence that the service they receive meets rigorous, independently verified standards.

Customers booking through Globelink Ünimar also benefit from our Track & Trace System, giving full shipment visibility from booking through to cargo release. For export LCL cargo, the team can accommodate bookings into the HÜRSAN bonded warehouse on any day of the week — a level of flexibility that sets our Turkish operation apart.

COMPREHENSIVE SERVICE COVERAGE

Globelink Unimar is committed to providing a dependable container network through extensive service coverage. The office runs five import LCL services connecting Shanghai to Turkish ports at Ambarlı, Haydarpaşa, Izmir, Mersin, and Gemlik, alongside direct sailings to and from all of these major ports. This gives shippers real flexibility in designing resilient, responsive supply chains.

In addition, we have Trade Lane teams devoted to 5 distinct locations to support both internal and external customers for FCL product. These senior team members coordinate pricing and operational processes by attentively analysing market conditions, allowing us to maintain top-tier performance while eliminating any potential risks for our clients.

WAREHOUSE SERVICES

Globelink Ünimar operates 5,000 m² of warehouse space on both the European and Asian sides of Istanbul, offering fulfilment, B2C handling, palletizing, and shrink/stretch wrapping services. The team's deep local knowledge extends to navigating the operational differences between Istanbul's ports:

Warehouse services include long-term and short-term (cross-docking) storage, export warehousing for international road transport, container loading and unloading, and strapping and palletizing — a full-service offering that keeps cargo moving efficiently through Istanbul's four terminals: Marport, Kumport, Mardas, and Haydarpaşa.

Globelink Ünimar anchors several other vital gateways:

Izmir, served by Aliağa and Alsancak ports, gives Globelink direct access to Türkiye's marble-producing regions (Antalya, Muğla, and Afyon — the country's largest marble exporting area), its textile centers in Aydın and Denizli (home to the country's largest towel manufacturing base), dried-fruit exports, and Uşak's leather industry.

Mersin, Türkiye's largest seaport city and gateway to the Middle East, earns its nickname as the "Pearl of the Mediterranean." From here, Globelink Ünimar offers transshipment into Mersin's industrial cities, Northern Iraq, and both North Cyprus and Famagusta.

Gemlik (Bursa), situated in one of Türkiye's largest industrial cities, benefits from daily LTL movement to and from Istanbul and direct LCL sea freight connections from Hong Kong and Shanghai, onward to Singapore, Barcelona, Dubai, and Ashdod — supporting steady flows of machinery and automotive spare parts.

Türkiye's standing as an emerging economy — the world's 18th largest by nominal GDP, 17th largest by purchasing power parity, and a founding member of both the OECD and the G-20 — makes our office's position at the crossroads of the Black Sea, Asia, and Europe especially valuable to the wider Globelink network.

Additional capabilities include full customs formalities and transshipment handling from every Turkish port, plus a 1,200 m² bonded warehouse dedicated to LTL consolidation and cross-docking.

Globelink Ünimar's commitment to social responsibility mirrors the values we hold across the group. The office supplies educational materials to underfunded schools in remote communities and partners with the Turkish Education Foundation (TEV) to fund scholarships supporting female students. It also sponsors national tennis player Zeynep Sönmez, who competes for Türkiye on the international stage.

Sustainability is equally central to the office's work. Through the Sea Surface Cleaning initiative, carried out with the Şile Municipality, the team has helped clean the waters off Istanbul's Şile district.

The Globelink Ünimar Grove, developed with the Aegean Forest Foundation, is a further expression of that environmental commitment. Globelink China awarded AAA credit grade once again by China International Freight Forwarders Association

Globelink China is once again rated as AAA credit grade by China International Freight Forwarders Association. The results of credit rating are divided into five classes AAA/AA/A/B/C, among which AAA is the highest level and C is the lowest.

The results depend on the comprehensive rating of an enterprise's credit based on the following aspects:

1. Analysis of the enterprise's constitution;
2. Estimation of the enterprise's business solvency,

i. debt payment ability
ii. profitability
iii. operating efficiency
iv. growth ability;

3. Study of the enterprise's risk control ability;
4. Appraisal of the establishment of the enterprise's credit management system;
5. Evaluation of the enterprise's business management ability,

i. managers
ii. contract fulfilment;
6. Review of the enterprise's social credit records.

🎳 Globelink Annual Bowling Tournament 2026

The Globelink Annual Bowling Tournament 2026 returned on 26 July 2026, bringing together colleagues for an exciting morning of friendly competition, camaraderie, and team spirit at SuperBowl Siglap in Singapore.

Organized by the Globelink Recreational Club Committee, this year's tournament featured 9 teams, each comprising 4 players, who took to the lanes with enthusiasm and determination. Throughout the event, participants showcased not only their bowling skills but also their sportsmanship, encouraging one another and celebrating every strike, spare, and personal best.

The tournament was filled with exciting matches, laughter, and friendly rivalry, reinforcing the importance of teamwork and the strong bonds that extend beyond the workplace.
